The main campus of the University is located in the picturesque hilly terrain spread over 350 acres of land adjacent to Lavale village near city of Pune. Symbiosis continues to evolve on 3 pillars viz. excellence, expansion, and equity. The University has Constituent Institutions /Departments spread across Pune, Nashik, Bengaluru, NOIDA, Hyderabad and Nagpur. The excellent infrastructure at all campuses of the University helps in effective planning and delivery of academic programmes.
All campuses of the University have hostels for girls and boys with indoor and outdoor sports facilities and Health Care Centres. Facilities for extra-curricular activities are also thoughtfully created and the administrative offices for managing the activities of thousands of students are adequate. SIU has embarked on a number of new initiatives which include augmentation of labs, classrooms, student support facilities, library, IT resources and campus facilities. The University has excellent sports facilities in its campuses for outdoor and indoor games such as Basketball, Football, Volley ball, Cricket, Badminton, Table tennis, Squash, Pool, Chess, Carrom and Gymnasiums.
The Wi-Fi enabled state-of-the-art infrastructure at all campuses of the University include well-furnished classrooms with multimedia facility, well-equipped laboratories, faculty cabins, well stacked libraries, seminar halls, auditoria, food courts, common rooms and hostels, rest rooms for students and staff, facilities for indoor and outdoor games, recreation and wellness facilities, and health centres. Shuttle buses are provided at all locations of Symbiosis for students. Facilities such as banking, stationary stores, laundry services, photocopy centre, are also available for students.
The library resources comprising of books and e-resources are complementary to the teaching-learning process. Wi-Fi campuses enable 24/7 usage of e-resources, thus adding to the flexibility of students to study at their pace and time. Libraries also provide value added services to faculty members, for research activities.
The university ensures that infrastructure facilities are disabled-friendly, for students with special abilities.
Symbiosis International (Deemed University) does not receive any grants from the Central or State Government.
